Organs and Bands in worship

With the emergence of contemporary music idioms into the liturgical context and the desire of a younger generation to incorporate more contemporary instruments into their worship, Ross Cobb, Director of Music at St Andrew’s Cathedral, Sydney, will direct a workshop on how to incorporate the organ with a contemporary band. There will be opportunities for organists and band musicians alike to experiment with the different forms of music available to combine the “old” and the “new” of church music.
